How the prototype handles information
Owner-review draft · 24 October 2026. This page describes the demonstration website. Nasip must confirm the operational details and approve the wording before a public launch.
Who this draft concerns
This is a draft notice for the proposed Nasip website. The business’s published contact details appear below. Before launch, Nasip must approve the controller details and confirm that this notice accurately describes its real processing.
Information you enter
The enquiry form asks for your name, business name, email address, optional phone number and message. Your product selections are included in the draft. These details remain in the current page until you choose to pass them to your email application. There is no form-submission endpoint or application database in this prototype.
Use only information needed for your enquiry. If you send the prepared email, your email provider and Nasip’s email service will process it. The resulting email may remain in your email account and Nasip’s systems under their respective arrangements.
Technical information and external services
A web server receives connection information when it serves a page, which can include an IP address, request time and browser information. The deployed host, logging practices and retention periods must be confirmed before public launch. Website fonts are supplied by the visitor’s device; no Google Fonts request is made.
Google Maps is optional and loads only after your choice. See the Cookie Notice. External links open services governed by their own privacy information.
Business processing to confirm before launch
Nasip must document and publish its actual purposes and lawful bases for handling enquiries and customer records; the legitimate interests relied on where applicable; retention periods or criteria; recipients and service providers; and any international transfers and safeguards. This draft does not invent these business arrangements.
Your data rights
Depending on the processing and lawful basis, UK data-protection rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Where consent is relied on, you may withdraw it. You have the right to object to direct marketing. Contact Nasip using the details below to raise a privacy question or request.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office ↗.
Automated decisions
This prototype does not profile visitors or make automated decisions about them.

Invoice Studio: optional basic PIN privacy
The separate Invoice Studio can store an encrypted PIN verification record in this browser when you set a device PIN. The PIN itself is not sent to Nasip or stored in plaintext. If you choose Save customer in Invoice Studio, the name, billing address, email and VAT number are saved encrypted in this browser, using the current device PIN. Customer suggestions are generated locally. You can update or remove saved entries and export an encrypted customer backup; the list is not synchronised to a server. Clearing browser storage removes this list, so keep a customer backup separately. Changing the device PIN re-encrypts the local list; downloaded backups retain their original PIN. Editable invoice downloads are encrypted with the PIN used at save time; printed PDFs are not encrypted. Four-digit PINs provide basic privacy only and can be guessed. The public app is not account-protected. Optional offline installation stores app assets, not invoice values, in the browser cache. Clearing browser data resets the device lock and may remove offline availability; it does not decrypt old files. Downloaded files stay under your control and can contain customer and payment information after decryption.
